New Patients

When you walk into our Woodbridge office, you’ll be warmly greeted at the front desk. If you haven’t already filled out your paperwork, we’ll give you forms to complete while you wait. Please arrive approximately 10-15 minutes early if you have not already completed the necessary history forms. At this time, we’ll also collect any insurance information you have.

Once you’re in our system, one of our team members will take you back and review your medical and dental history with you. If you have any questions or concerns, be sure to mention them so we can best assist you and address your needs.

Your Dental Exam

Now it’s time to get started! One of our dentists will stop by to meet with you, and order any necessary dental x-rays. Intraoral images will be taken of your mouth to review any concerns or recommended treatments. The dentist will enlarge these images on a screen to show you exactly what’s going on inside your mouth. If further dental care is needed, we’ll discuss that together and develop a dental treatment plan that works for you!

Prior to any treatment you need, your insurance will be verified for your convenience. Often, we can get started on your care right away or the next business day.

Office Tour

Common questions our new patients often ask us include:

Do you take my insurance? We accept most major insurance providers, including Cigna, Geha and MetLife. We also accept pediatric patients with Medicaid.

What should I do for a toothache? If you’re experiencing any painful symptoms, call us right away. We offer same day emergency appointments. If you’re an existing patient, you can also call our office after normal business hours to speak to our on-call dentist.

Do I have to visit the dentist every 6 months? The standard of dental care as set forth by the American Dental Association includes a recommendation that patients visit the dentist at least two times each year. These preventive dentistry checkups allow our dentists and team to partner with patients to maintain their optimal level of oral health.
